Paradigm is an up and coming consulting firm out of silicon valley specializing in the momentous task of increasing diversity inside of some of the world’s fastest tech startups. Aleah Warren is a Managing Consultant on the Paradigm team bringing with her an incredible background in social-organization. We discussed the increased focus of diversity in tech companies, unconscious gender bias and what it means to any women advocate or business owner. Of course I had to ask her what it was like working in the heart of silicon valley and jumping into the start up world! Below is Aleah’s full bio.
Aleah brings an organizational psychology lens to diversity and inclusion. At Paradigm, Aleah’s work emphasizes inclusion in particular, with a focus on designing cultures in which all employees can bring their whole selves to work and are empowered to perform to their fullest potential. She leverages her psychology expertise and qualitative research background to help clients identify barriers to inclusion and address those barriers to become the best versions of themselves. Aleah has written about diversity and inclusion for Fast Company and has been quoted as an expert in this space by International Business Times. Before joining Paradigm, Aleah was an organizational consultant at UC Berkeley’s Campus Shared Services division, a new division she helped build. Aleah holds a Master’s Degree in Social-Organizational Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University.
